I have had a albino nelsons that has had problems shedding from the beginning. He has always required a soaking. This time soaking is not working. I have been able to peel all the old skin off this eight inch snake. Except that is the first inch. I cannot get it off no matter how hard I try. I am afraid I will hurt it if I keep trying. Yesterday it bit me while I was trying to take some skin off. It is obviously very stressed while I try to take the skin off. Should I keep trying to soak and peel or should I just leave it alone? What could happen if I leave it on? Will it eat? Thank You for you help!
