I have a couple of hondurans cooling now to breed this spring.
They have been @ 55 to 60 deg and about one hour of light per day since the 15th of february and are doing fine ( Healthy / small weight loss but not much at all) I was not able to cool them sooner. How do people do with a shortened brumation period say 4 to six weeks? Is this enough to trigger the breeding response and how much does it deminish the chances of successfull breeding? My male is about 500 grams going into the cooler and the female is 350grams going in. I hope that people that have experience with breeding these beautifull snakes can give me their input.
Thanks Chris
