Here's one of my black milks, also an '02 hatchling from Napa Valley. September '02 to be exact... is yours from earlier in the season, or maybe you actually got that lone male yearling he had for sale? A couple years too young for breeding, either way. If yours is really the same age/genes as mine, what the heck are you feeding that guy?!? Mine get 3-4 pinkies a week, and are only about 18-20". Maybe he just *looks* bigger because he's being held by a small child.

:This is my '02 male from Steve at Nappa Valley. That's my three-year-old holding him. As you can probably see, he needs to lose a little weight. It's so easy to overfeed these guys, and they just don't shed the weight quickly at all.
:Anyway, these are excellant snakes and I look forward to (hopefully) breeding my pair next year.
