I just got a pair of leo's from a lady at work. These are my first leo's. However, I have kept just about every other manner of reptile over the years so I have pretty good general herp knowledge. I have been lurking here in the forums for a while to get a feel for things and am very happy to find a great community of leo fiends. I think there should be some kind of warning label on the little guys that says " WARNING THESE LIZARDS ARE ADDICTIVE!" I love these little guys! Anyway enough about me. Here are my questions. THe lady I got Lizzy and Elvis from told me that Lizzy lays eggs regularly but they are never viable. She hadn't given them a humidty hide/ laying box so I set one up for them. They immediately began to use it. So far the female did lay one egg which wasn't good and now she digs like crazy in the humid hide but no eggs. How common is it for a female to lay eggs that are unfertilized? I haven't seen amplexus take place so I can't verify that. Thanks and sorry for the long post. I ma looking forward to becoming an active member of the leo addict community.
