:Dear Sir/Madam,
:Late night the TV news bulletins featured a so-called hero who was big and tough enough o decapitate a supposedly protected Brown Snake at Burleigh Heads ? Queensland.
:The man's name was Dennis Carr and he was bragging on TV about his manhood and how the snake bit him some time after he'd bravely decapitated it.
:You will be able to get the details of the case from the TV Networks that featured this news story on the evening of Monday 27 January 2003.
:The whole case is a scandal and makes yet another mockery of the wildlife laws in Australia.
:This letter is a formal complaint and request that he be immediately and properly charged, convicted and fined for his legal infraction.
:It is noted that in it's live state the snake was no threat to the man and therefore any defence of threat to live is therefore removed.
