An increase in death rate could accomplish your goal quicker than a decrease in birth rate.
How about if we just stop funding all medical research and pray for a good epidemic to increase the death rate. Cancer, heart disease, and AIDS are good things because it helps to kill off human pests. Maybe when people turn 50 we can have them eliminated to reduce the population and their burden on the environment. War is good.
If someone chooses not to have children, great. But forced sterilization, please.
If someone came on this forum and said you should only be allowed to have one snake as a pet at a time, they would get slammed for wanting to take away our freedoms. Check out China for an example of the type of government that would enact this type of policy. Do you think we should model ourselve after them?
Personally I'm glad my parents were allowed to have more than one child or I wouldn't be here.
