My Yearling Desert King Is Mean As Sin

Hey everyone....I just got this baby Dessert King about two weeks ago... The little girl is mean...lol. Seriously though, I know this snake is being defensive because its scared of me and its a baby. I handle her but she is always musking and rattling her tail. before I grab her she coils up, rattles her tail,and begins striking. She hasn't tagged me yet but she has been close. I get vry cautious in handling her because i am still nervous of being bitten. I never been bitten before but I know the day is coming soon. How did you deal with your first bite? And should I go to the doctor after i get bitten... Well sorry for sounding like a punk today,,,THanks- ELvy
