Gosh, that really stinks!! How sad!! It sounds like she'll have to be just be a pet from now on so that you don't risk losing her again. That poor girl!!

PS. Thanks for not making me wonder anymore...I hate suspense. :)

:The vet aspirated the egg closest to her vent and massaged her
:but the eggs did not come down. I took her home and waited 24 hours hoping that she would pass the smaller egg and hopefully the remainder of them. She is currently spending the night at
:the vet's office after having surgery to remove the remainder
:of the eggs. I am so bummed, I was really excited about her clutch. I wish I knew what happened. She is a big girl the biggest ruthveni I have ever seen so I know size was not the
:issue and the eggs were indeed fertile. RATS!
