The vet aspirated the egg closest to her vent and massaged her
but the eggs did not come down. I took her home and waited 24 hours hoping that she would pass the smaller egg and hopefully the remainder of them. She is currently spending the night at
the vet's office after having surgery to remove the remainder
of the eggs. I am so bummed, I was really excited about her clutch. I wish I knew what happened. She is a big girl the biggest ruthveni I have ever seen so I know size was not the
issue and the eggs were indeed fertile. RATS!
