:dave, you can keep them temporarily in those big plastic tubs from walmart or kmart. they're real cheap and you can re-use them later for lots of things. the snakes won't know the difference over the short haul....back woods of maine huh? you're gonna have a tougher time adjusting than your animals! you're aware that a maine summer lasts all of about a week and a half right? LOL! good luck!!

as you might have remembered from my earlier visits here, i do better with fewer people around me :)

as to the indigos, dont indigos go kind of nuts in tubs they cant see out of very well?

i once had to stick my adult pair into a couple of reptariums for an hour, and they went CRAZY.
