Yes they do! When they go after large/active prey items they will often wrap a couple of coils to subdue dinner. They will often use their mid body area to constrict. I have also seen the rear part of the body used. I have observed constriction being used by young animals, as well as adults. Usually prey is grabbed and swallowed, very fast I might add. Constriction seems to be used only as a last resort for those fiesty prey itmes. They certainly do not use it on a regular basis. Hope this helps.
