:Here's what I'd say you need to consider keeping an indigo snake:
1- some real experience caring for other snakes
2- an understanding of the needs of indigos and their requirements. (see care sheets on www.indigosnakes.com)
3- Willingness to get or construct a fairly large cage in the near future.
4- Willingness to clean up a lot of very stinky excrement.
5- A digital camera so you can share pictures with us (LOL)
6- Several hundred bucks ! (LOL)
Good luck...check the breeders list(www.indigosnakes.com), there's only a few of us working with Texans, so you'll need to act fast to get a place "in line" if you decide you are serious!
