Good news is that you CAN legally possess captive born eastern indigos in TX. You would need a federal interstate commerce permit to purchase one from someone outside of TX.

You can also posses blacktail, unicolor and other cribos that are very similar in all aspects other than color to the TX indigo with no paperwork.
