Ok, all this stuff going on lately has me really motivated. I was looking for a rescue society to volunteer with. But there doesn't seem to be an organized one down here in San Diego for herps. Considered maybe trying to organize one. But, I am transferring in a year, maybe sooner (better to start one after I transfer to the new location). I had been to the NIAD site before but went and took another look. Signed up as a volunteer. I considered becoming a state or county coordinator. But with the new baby coming (9 days to my due date and counting) I didn't want to bite off more than I can chew (keeping in mind I also have an 8 year old, a 20 month old, and a full time+ job that requires about 50 hours a week). So I am just a local volunteer. Hey, I am contributing!!! Feels great!
