Not much I can really add to the other advice, except that i would try to soak it in water as much as possible....but don't leave it alone, as you're not sure if it is too far gone to care whether or not it drowns. They can absorb small amounts of water, and may even drink a bit of the bath water.
Best of luck. Also, I know that this sounds strange, but I was hoping that you can take some pics of him in his poor state. We here at this forum are pooling together to build a informational page to add to our community website. We hope to inform as many people as possible about many of the illnesses and diseases that our Igs can suffer. If you'd like to visit the site, the link is posted below.
