Some of you say in a way what I mean. But guys, please don't hang me for the following THOUGHTS of mine ( lol????!! ).

Sorry Cirsisue, yes you did answer last time and MY answer was meant to both of you at that time. And sure, you're right I don't have the time to interact one to one as you guys do, BUT I'm in there with them maybe 1-2 hours a day, AND I have the mother of my babies ( lol ) climbing up on me searching for contact, but it's the food she's after not me petting or stiking her. It's sooo evidental, since she goes down as soon as the food it put down. Other times she NEVER ever do this. Also, in a room YOU are the warmest spot TOGETHER with the fact she knows you give her food. This doesn't in any way change the fact that they really don't NEED any petting, why would they? I said before, they are not stupid and they may take the bad with the good. I'm NOT an emotionless person just because I work as a keeper, on the contrary I love animals and do MY best to give them what I think they need.

iZ's mom said it: food and tub privledges come to mind. She also said that they need something to interact with and social contact. In a way I agree, they do need something to interact with to keep them sound mentally. Also she mentioned the drastic changes and that human contact should replace the contact with another Ig. Again, absolutely, BUT the contact with other Iguanas in nature is NOT petting and close emotional contact, so why would they NEED this in our care, beats me...Sorry, I'm relly down on my knees to beg that you don't hate me now, but I can not really buy the emotional NEED of an Iguana, just agree to the fact they CAN adapt to it. AND, I can accept ( eventhough you don't care for MY approval lol )that as a pet owner you should have strong feelings for your animals ( that's OUR natural and emotional needs )

Bosse, humbly bowing LOL
