Iguana's can be like many other pets, Dogs, cats, birds,etc.. they MAY not need our affections but they do accept them and in some cases look forward to it. I've heard many stories of iguanas that will come down off their basking area just to lay with their parent (human)so the warmth thing doesn't fly with this kind of action. I'm a strong believer that iguana's need to be in captivity BUT ( as I know you are thinking...how can he be against breeding and be for captivity) I only feel this way because of the threat of iguanas in the wild. I want to know that there's enough captive iguanas around to be able to re-generate iguana's to be released back into the wild if it comes down to it.
Oh course this is ALL just MY OPINION LOL
