CWat...sounds like he's had time to acclimate...maybe he's just a wiry thing and needs more time. They calm as they get older and more familiar with the routine. Give him a couplea tablespoons of his food...twice a day maybe for starters. Id definately supplement with calcium and thiamine. Thiamine often acts as an appetite stimulant & *relaxant* for hyper iggies. Also maybe wanna up the plant protein with Jackie..put an ounce or two on him...for a limited time...add more tofu, alfalfa hay, raisins, watermelon (good thiamine source too)...
Water available to em all the time..Good youre on the humidity they're gonna need it...they'll be shedding like every two weeks...lol Get him out in the sun as much as possible..stimulates appetite ...UVB is ESSENTIAL to an igs survival...so he'll need the sun (8 hrs per month) or atificial uvb tube (lights)x12 hrs a day
I think youre doin pretty darn good there CWAT. Its just gonna take time with this lil guy try not to handle him for awhile...and I wouldn't bother him but to feed him and clean out his tank for a while. Till he gets used to the routine, the noises around your place....He's scared..& he's just lettin you know it!
Good luck and welcome!
