I agree with Harry's parents word for word (except the part about breeding...I don't think I would ever do that :)
The "big picture" needs to be looked at. And Dino, if laws are introduced and education instilled, there will NOT
always be strays. If we all work hard together, we will reduce the number of homeless animals. I am not saying
eliminate, but homeless animals will have a place to go, free from the threat of euthanasia. That is a long
way down the road, but we have to start somewhere. In a post way down below, you said you were being overrun
with iguanas. Maybe your timing isn't right. Most people (I say most...not all) will forgo your more expensive
iguanas for the cheaper ones at a pet store. Until we can get the population down and the price up it will always
be harder to get rid of your iguanas. You must take responsibility for other's actions. You are the one that
supplied the iguanas in the first place. As said before, this isn't aimed as being hate mail towards you, it is
just how I feel about all breeding.

The Animals' Saviour
I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes hope and love, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. I was angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment, then He spoke softly.
"I have done something," He replied. " I created you."
