Having dropped the NIAD package off at 3 pet stores, I was interested in whether this made any difference. I sent my 18 year old son to pose as a customer. The boy pointed to the 10 gallon starter kit. The manager then came over and told him to start with a 20 gallon min. She said it might last 6 months to a year. My son asked what to use after that. The manager said he would have to build his own. The manager told him that the Ig would grow to 6 feet, required a 2 to 1 calcium/phosphorus ratio with multi-vitamin and calcium spray (ouch). They named romain lettuce, kale, spinach, yellow squash, carrots, etc. The manager said they needed nights for heat. Interestingly though, they were on sale for $9.99, but underneath is a sign that says "Igs reuire proper care, maintenance and diet for optimum health. Please don't buy us 'cuz we are cheap" I think there is some improvement and maybe after they sell these 10 gallons aquariums, well just maybe.
