I just don't know if that is correct information..any encouragement to get owners to understand the importance of maintaining hi humidity for green iguanas is a step in the right direction tho. Both of my adult GGIs sneeze more during breeding season. Green iguanas sneeze more potassium than sodium as they are terrestial herbivores (^r potassium from diet) and not marine/water reptiles who do sneeze, or as in sea turtles tear more sodium than potassium or chloride due to sea/brackish water.
As for the abscesses...if they are disappearing 'on their own' then I definately would forego the a/bs (they may have been localized from trauma of some sort) but please do keep an eye on them and perhaps seek another vet if these abscesses reoccur on other parts of the iguanas body.
