You've got your work cut out for you,but I'm sure you're glad to have Syd back and on the mend.Infection's are a nasty business,did the vet tell you what could have caused the infection?Is Syd on baytril or something else.When they're on antibiotics they sometimes lose their appitites,an make sure you keep Syd well hydrated too.I'd use a little bit of pedilyte mixed with lots of water to help keep Syd hydrated.Did your vet tell you if any kidney or liver damage was caused?
Glad to hear Syds gonna be alright.
