: Its not unusual for igs to stop eating when a change has taken place in their life (moving, switching cages, etc.). He might not eat for a few days. He'll be fine. You might want to mix the store bought ig food with your salad and gradually reduce the pellet/flake stuff over time. I'd also not feed any type of lettuce to him. The collards are a great food. Lola likes to be given the whole leaf. You might want to offer him this along with some shredded collards. Also, toss out whatever he doesn't eat every day. Be patient. Harry didn't eat for a few days either after his ordeal. Hollar if you have any more questions.

Sue,
Thanks, boy do I have alot of questions for ya!!
My friend also used a heating rock, witch I didn't even bother to put in his new cage because I heard they were very bad!! How do I keep his cage warm enough after the lights go off? Why I mentioned the rock is because I think he uses that for heat.
You say to leave him alone, except for cleaning cage and feeding.Well what and were should I put him while cleaning his cage out?
