Mel's Nails

A while ago I posted that Mel had lost part of one her nails. I don't know how she damaged it she did it while out exercising, I couldn't even find the missing part. It was the same one she had ripped out on one of her logs earlier. Well I followed the same treatment the Vet told me the first time. I thought it was pretty well healed and would just take time for the nail to grow back out. Yesterday, I go to take her out of her enclosure and darn if that same nail doesn't come off. Only this time it is more than just part. It is practically all of it. It doesn't even look like the first time when the only the nail bed remained, that stuck out farther that what is left now. I mean there is maybe 1/16 - 1/8 of inch left of nail and that is it! I am worried it may not grow back. Anyone have any thoughts, comments, suggestions?
