Iguana sneezing (leaving a gritty salt behind) is very normal to rid their body of excess salt-- I didn't think it had anything to do with humidity, but it is possible I guess.
My last iguana had a bad respiratory infection right before he died (some signs were holding his head up very high because he was having trouble breathing, and bubbly saliva at the corners of his mouth) I knew something was wrong immediately because if you know your ig's normal behavior-- this was very obvious.
As far as the abcesses... I would keep an eye on those yourself, because I'm not sure they can heal on their own. My last ig was covered with them when I rescued him (on his tail) and I waited to see if with proper care they would go down---but they were spreading (I'm not sure exactly what they were). I ended up having to give him antibiotic shots to stop the spread & heal them as much as they would (had a lot of scars left).
Good luck and keep us posted.
