thanks for all your great info..i have spent a good deal of the day online studying the recommended sites.
i was actually thinking of the sprouted food that you grow in your house...not alfalfa or bean...i should have made myself clear...sorry. i think wheat grass sprouts are all the rage with raw foods people and vegans. those are the type of sprouts i was referring to.
i don't have a uv bulb yet, i don't use them for my other herps (green iguanas are the ONLY reptile proven to utilize the uvb rays from uv bulbs)...what is the best uv light? she's been spending at least 2 hours a day in the sun (six hours today and probably the same for tomorrow).
i love all the food ideas....looks like i'll be getting into some gardening!
"iggy" (do i have the right to rename her???!) didn't do a whole lot today...she ate a couple bites of dandelion greens and a bite of banana.
she also defecated on me and shredded my arms to ribbons....gotta love those igs!
