: Well not so sure about wheat grass sprouts. a bit added to her salad isnt going to kill her, but because she is older your really going to have to watch protein& phosphorus intake on her. Wheat sprouts are high phospohorus so maybe that's why Melissa downplays adding sprouts to an iguanas diet, not sure.Since Iggy (go ahead & change her name why not?)is getting good unfiltered direct sunlight...don't buy a uvb light.Igs seem to only need 6-8 hours a month of unfiltered direct sunlight/uvb to sustain them.I don't even run my uvb light anymore...savin it for the (winter)MONTHS when I can't get em in the sun.Early day sunlight seems to be the best so far that Ive read. Why it makes a difference I have NO idea!about those scratches..clean them super good! will take a while to heal. Wear gloves and old (laundered perferably..lol) tube socks cut off on closed end as wrist guards. May consider clipping her nails just the very little tip(even then your guaranteed scratches just not as razor sharp) or investing in the meltors tool over at Kevin Egans website. Poop stories seem to be a big deal at this board ...sounds like your gonna fit in fine here Jeanine...lol as for me I confine myself to lizard farts..may write a scientific paper on it someday who knows....
