Don't know if you've read this site but it has some treatments...the least evasive IMHO is the Betadine bath. I don't blame you for being paranoid about introducing mites to your collection. I've never had them but reading about them gives me the heebie-jeebies. Don't want 'em...uhhuh, no way.
