Three adopted iguanas and a depressed Kitty

Today my friend Morgan and I went back to that pet store. The manager was there this time, and I got a chance to talk to him. I think he was being honest when he said that these group of iguanas were more of a freak accident from the supplier. The other reptiles seemed to be in good condition. I offered to take the three sick iguanas home, because I think it'd be horrible to die in a pet store. Morgan and I named them Thom, Richey and Nicky.
Thom had a tick on his foreleg, and after quite a bit of an effort, we finally got the nasty bug out. A few minutes later, Thom went into convulsions and died in my hands. It was so upsetting and he was completely limp in my hands. I hope no one here ever has that experience.
Morgan and I hand-fed Nicky and Richey. Richey was the thinner of the two, but was more willing to eat. Nicky on the other hand put up quite a fight about it. Morgan is keeping Nicky and Richey at her house because they're infested with mites and I'm too paranoid that I'll spread the mites to my lizards. If anyone has any suggestions for non-toxic mite treatments, I'd be glad to hear them.
