move his tank *up* off the floor! igs live in trees and like to be high up ... (they also enjoy looking *down* on us lowly humans ...)

igs don't like change ... it *will* take him time to get used to you and trust that you're not going to eat him! try to do the same things at the same time everyday ... that will give him a chance to learn what to expect and when and ease his stress ....

dandelion greenz are great! commercial ig-food, not so much ...

would highly recommend a trip to a reptile vet! he very likely has *at least* worms and possibly other parasites that need to be treated asap ... i don't believe they are communicable to humans but they *will* greatly interfer with it's return to health ... i'd also be concerned about *why* his toes are that way ... a good ig-vet can help you with that ...

as far as his color ... very prob'ly due to poor health, poor diet and environment and *stress* ...

he *might* like to play in the tub ... (some don't) ... try just a *little* warm water and see how he does ... soaking in the tub is also way better than mistling as far as shedding goes ...

2 great ig sites with just about everything you need to know about igs (including diets):

good luck with your new family member! this forum is a great place to come and learn and share ... *welcome*!!!!
