We have always found putting one of your old t-shirts in their cage,it gets them use to your scent and we always wore a t-shirt for a day or two after handling them so that their scent is on your shirt.Lots of patient and soft voice and slow moving hands is what helps tame them. We've tamed 3 monitors,3Bds and 3igs that way.It works for us.Good luck and red double hibiscus for you and your baby.
