Sure why not! when you run over to Melissa's site note the side effects of eating clover not even close to "harmful" and I think that you'd have to be giving quite a bit for it to give a reptile dermititis. (Unfortunately the site does not list how much of this stuff needs to be ingested before these side effects appear) My vet said its ok, (he also says giving my igs broccoli is ok which I would NEVER do and he also says that giving a little bit of low fat dog food is ok too which I HAVE done at times)Clover is listed on his phamphlet care sheet of things ok to let Igs eat...go figure. Is Melissa right? Is the vet right?hmmm decisions decisions.Call up your vet & see what he/she says. Clover is no where near as bad as say giving an iguana ...as I saw a post below nutri-grain bars ,plus clover has alot less fat and phosphorus!)
Let your iguanas enjoy a couplea mouthfuls now & then..prolly enjoying the smell thats whats attractin em! As for bds I have NO idea!but if photosensitivity and dermititis are the biggest side effect let them eat it too! They only live once!err that didn't come out right. It won't kill em lets put it that way!
Happy herping
Gina
