Clover - Yes or No?

I thought I had remembered someting here re clover and that it was okay for the iguanas. I ran a search and my memory was correct.
Now to introduce a bit of controversy....over at the dragon forum the ingestion of clover has been discussed recently. It appears to me that it just may be a no-no. Rather than trying to pull a copy of the discussion over here for folks to read, if you are interested in it you can read it over there. It's not too far down and begins with Clover. I must say that ours have nibbled at whatever kind of clover we have in our yard with no apparent ill effects. But they've not taken in great mouthfuls either. A frequent, and sometimes fatal, malady of bearded dragons is liver disease. I think what has everyone over there so concerned is that at a toxic site it lists a side effect of clover to be "Bad liver disease" or words to that effect. Our dragon has never munched on it because he goes outside in a large bird cage. But now I'm wondering if I should be making sure that the iguanas don't either.
