a silly question anywhere else ...

is a serious one here *grin*

does anyone *purposely* grow dandelions for their igs??? and if so, how do you go about it????

i am working on hatching a plan to start a hydroponic (sp?) dandelion garden ... in english, i mean: i'm going to 'plant' them in little containers of water ... my thinking is that dandelions are probably one of those plants that 'like' to be 'root-bound' and once their roots fill the container, they will concentrate on growing big huge leaves ....

the ones in my yard don't come *close* to the nice *huge* ones at the grocery store ... (i have visions of *fields* of dandelions somewhere ... would you still have to weed the fields???) LOL

ok .. i'm off to clean the winter out of my flower beds *grin* ... last year, i had a *huge* nest of little black snakes on the sunny corner of the house and i want to make that area a snake friendly flower bed *complete* with a little fence around it so the puppy doesn't try to *play* with them! hubby says he thinks they still live there ... i hope so! it was *so* cool to watch them last year!

(and yes, my co-workers are *totally* convinced that i am certifiably insane! "ooooh ... what if they get in the house?!?!?!" ... well, you just kinda herd them back out the door i guess .... LOL

hey, what *is* a group of snakes called anyways???
