But even though I trimmed them they are still as sharp and painful as needles. Did I not cut them back far enough, or do you think she is just in the size range that it's not really going to make a difference. They'll either be tiny pin prick needles, or blunt needles, but none the less, they still hurt like crazy!
Lesha, when you clip an animal's nails you're just switching from a pointy and sharp end to a flat surface that's sharp around the edges. If you want to get rid of the sharpness, you have to file. Or use the nail melt-it tool. I don't have it, myself, but I hear it's really good. Hope this helps explain it. And GOOD LUCK filing. ;)
