This weekend I clipped Takhisis's nails. And she didn't shed a bit of blood either. She sat very still for me too, after I wrapped her up in a towel. But even though I trimmed them they are still as sharp and painful as needles. Did I not cut them back far enough, or do you think she is just in the size range that it's not really going to make a difference. They'll either be tiny pin prick needles, or blunt needles, but none the less, they still hurt like crazy!
She is growing so much! She must have had a growth spurt this past week, because she really looked larger then I remembered. As Nate says, she's fat and sassy!
Only 2 1/2 more weeks and I'll be able to spend tons more time with her!

Oh! I have a funny story!
Before I got Tak we used to stop in this pet store once a week, and there was this *large* iguana there. Every time we stopped I would watch him. I thought he was the coolest ig...Well we haven't had a chance to stop in there for a while, and we finally got in there recently. I looked for the *large* iguana when we went in the store. In his cage was the *much smaller* guy. I turned to Nate and said "look they got rid of the *big* guy!" He pointed out that this was the *big* guy.
Since I've seen so many full grown iguanas from pics here, and reptile shows, that iguana just didn't look as big! And from my memory he was big, so it looked like two different iguanas.....
Okay so maybe that was only funny in my twisted head. It's the end of the semester, I'm easily amused.

*grin*
