Allowishus ID half solved

Vet says no problem. Never seen an iggy like mine - but has fattest, fully-illustrated atlas for herp id's. It was humoungous. It seems Allowishus is definately a ctenosaurus (spiny-tailed iguana), but alas this ultimate i.d. book did not have pictures of all ctenosaurus varieties.
She is very close to c. quinquecarinata. There is a pic on page 78 of Baron's "Iguanas - A complete Pet Owner's Manual" by Bartlett and Bartlett. NO CARE INFO though. **Also mine is a dark lizard**, and solidly coloured (charcoal grey the last few days), with the turqouise highlights (occassionally) and some small black sqiggelly lines on her back half. Her underbelly is white. Also her feet are exactly like (the green) Iggy's and they're huge.
I have another small hardcover book called "All About Iguanas" by Roberts and Roberts. Unfortunately the pics are black and white, but on page 26 is the ONLY pic I've ever seen with Allowishus's tail. It's a ctenosaurus clarki. However this lizard is way too fat(?)and is spotted/mottled. Allie's feet are similar but bigger with longer toes. But it does comment on this lizard having a slightly flattened tail shape. Sometimes this is listed as "enyaliosaurus", and one website called them "enyaloides". No care info anywhere that I can find.
Vet says she looks in excellent health, and he found her to be an unusually pleasant lizard. I was so proud of her!... and then he tells me he thinks there's probably no info on her because "this is not an attractive lizard, and probably wouldn't sell in a pet store"!!!!! And Allowishus didn't even poop on him! (I nearly did though). He said with her skin being so tough (and it really is) she's most likely a desert creature. He just couldn't get over how well she handled.
So it looks like I still need help. How big will she get, and what should she be eating? This couple of wax worms a week business can't continue!!! No luck with the Fort Worth Zoo, who apparently have 3 c. clarki's. I tried to think of desert food. Should I try Aloe Vera? More pics of ctenosaurus would be helpfull. C. pectinata, palearis, defensor, hemilopha, and acanthura do not have the right kind of tails. Oh, and when I brought her back home, all her turqoise was showing again!
I did take pictures of her to post, but they are awfull and fuzzy. I'm no photographer! Maybe I'll ask my neighbour, she takes good close-ups of her flowers.
Thanks for listening again.
Wendy
