I have read all my ig books cover to cover and none of them cover eating dirt or sand. In "Iguana, Iguana" it shows an xray where small stones were eaton but does say word one about why. I have noticed a lot of simiarlities between birds and reptiles. Of course my birds eat gravel to help with their digestion, but igs use bacteria. However, the birds will eat more minerals... mineral blocks and cuttle bone (calium) when the females are gravid and need more to produce eggs. Do you think that it is possible it could be related to that?
Just me thinking again. Sometimes its productively good and sometimes its just garbage.
