I guess that a bad diet, etc. could keep an iguana's natural function from kicking in and then the right diet, etc. could reverse this. Makes sense to me! However, I'm fairly certain that Sue's iguana has been under her care for years using proper husbandry and still no eggs. (I don't have any memory of her having had to re-habilitate Cirsi from previous owners.)
It's my own personal opinion that if you both actually have sterile females...you should count yourself lucky!
