Hope you ig's tail grows back. But, hey a stubbed tail isn't the end of the world. In fact it can have it's benefits.
Mel has about 1/2 her tail. She is also one of the sweetest igs I know. There has only been one time she has shown any aggression what-so-ever. It was shortly after she came to live with us and I guess she didn't hear me coming. But she was sitting up on the back of the couch and I walked up behind. She took a huge hard swing at me. If she had connected it would have been on my stomach, OUCH!! But due to her stubby tail she doesn't have the reach she thinks she does and missed by a mile, LOL!
Mel's tail may not be the prettiest, but I wouldn't trade her for any other ig.
