Yes, I know exactly wot you mean!
On a message board for a band I like, there's these people that INSIST on posting profound comments such as "Bush ruuuullllzz" (Even though it's not a Bush board. Hmm. Anyway..) and if someone hints the teensiest bit that they don't think Bush is that good, the Bush fans go into a frenzy of insults, profanity and personal attacks.
I'm glad to see that people on THIS board know how to argue effectively! There'll always be a few bad seeds wherever you go, but hopefully we've all learned that insults get us nowhere.
