I just adopted a male iguana named Spike. He is about 3 1/2 years old, and he is very healthy. His previous owners tell me that he has not eaten much at all in the past month due to mating season. The iguana did the same thing last year. He still looks very healty, but how long until he starts eating again? My male Talon, about the same age, eats just fine during mating season, so I haven't experienced this yet.
The previous owners of Spike did a wonderful job with him. He was fed a proper diet and everything.
