I know what you mean about the wholesalers. One of the pet stores I visit will actually not sell any animal in bad shape. Even though I have been real interested in the animal. One turtle they had was on medication for a week and they wouldn't sell it until it had finished its meds and was healthy. She looked healthy and they could have easily sold her and not said anything.
