Overfeeding

Question.. CAN you overfeed an iggy or will they stop eating when they are full? Little Carlos has days where he eats what I THINK is a normal amount of food and some days where he eats twice as much! Right now, while he's still a little underweight and malnourished, I've been feeding him as much leafy greens as he'll take, but he's catching up and I'm beginning to wonder if too much would be a bad thing?
