a few days ago my over 40 husband wasn't able to focus on some computer generated numbers...he whipped off his glasses and "Hey, I can see these more clearly without my glasses. My vision must be getting better." (Yeah, sure, dream on! Dare I tell him that he's headed for bifocals just like I wear? LOL)

Joan, I do have a horror story re igs & glasses. When Thunder was about Sneakers' size, Ben (hubby) was doing something with him and he jumped and landed on Ben's face catching a claw somehow in part of Ben's glasses frame. Before Ben could help him, Thunder got scared and yanked. He left the claw & a part of the toe in Ben's glasses. Of course, Ben felt horrible about it altho it was clearly an accident and Thunder was fine in the long run. No one was home except them at the time so Thunder's panic wasn't from loud noise or anything except that he felt himself caught up in something and yanked. So just be careful when he starts getting antsy and you have your glasses on while he's still a baby.

Oh, and Joan, trim them.....very carefully. LOL
