I just picked up Hercules from the vet. His face looks so much better. They cleaned it up and put three surgical staples in it to pull the skin tight so it can heal. They also gave him hormones to calm him down. Wow what a huge difference. He is so calm!!!! Which is important because I really don't want him to hurt himself anymore.
The bill was 300 dollar's but it was money well spent.
Thanks everyone for your advice and I am considering getting rid of this cage and buying/building another one.
