I posted a couple of days ago that I was getting my frist Iguana.I have worked with them, but have never been owned by one so I will have tons of questions.( I do have a bearded dragon and 2 leapord gecko's.see gallery under my name to see them)

I had to resue this poor izzy after I saw the home it was in.The people who had it claimed they have read every book on them and taking care of it right....thats so NOT true.

They don't know the sex or how old it is.They WON it from a fair this past Oct. It is about 18 front tip of nose to tail.I lives in a 10 gallon tank!

It is scared to death be touch and will freak out if you try to touch him.

Now the questions......... How long do I leave it in this tiny home before I move it to a temp. home which is a 55 gallon tank? Should I let him get used to me for a few weeks before I move him? When do go to move him, what is the best way? I don't want to reach in and it freaks out and loses it tail.

I need much and all /any advice.

Here is a pic. of the tank he in and I will post 2 more pictures of him (upclose pic) if someone can tell me how to put a pic in the body of the post.
