i know NOT everyone on this forum is from America, but this war is really bothering me. i'm 16, and this may sound really weird, and no, it's not just b/c i want to be a veterinarian, but i don't worry so much about the lives of people being lost in this war, but i worry more about all the animals. i don't want this to be taken the wrong way, like i dont' like people, but don't you ever just sit back and think "what happened to the animals that were affected on 9/11, or think what might happen to animals?" hell, i do. i'm not really worried about losing my family, b/c the rest of us can fend for ourselves w/ out one of them, but WHEN and IF something does happen over here, i worry about my 2 iguanas, my 2 snakes, my dog, 3 cats, and can't forget the cheap little $1.99 fish in the aquarium. what's to happen to them when all they've ever known is gone? how are they to live and survive? how do they deal w/ the pain of being injured if there's no one there to rescue them. I'm sorry, but just saying that is making me cry right now. i'm more worried about the animals, and yes, i do know about over population, but i think animals know when they are loved, and suddenly, they are abandonded and no one to explain to them that their mommy or daddy is gone forever.
sorry this is so long, but i just need someone to listen to me and to try to know where i'm coming from. Egor is in pain from her surgery, and what if i'm not there in the morning to feed her and ask her if she's feeling ok?
i'm not asking for pity, i just needed to talk(write).
thanks for listening.
