You have a diver too? Miggs, male, one of my three is diving as well. Don't know what it is but I hear thump after thump. I keep going in there and there he is at the bottom.
I thought perhaps he wanted to come out, so I opened his door, wow did I get a surprise, he leapt at me! I hurried and shut the door, He was bobbing so I thought he wanted out, apparently that was not the reason. He diving about six more times before quitting. He seems to be ok, and although he dives everyday, he has not come at me again. Don't know what it is about the free fall, I just hope he doesn't get hurt!

:Hello everyone,

:I am looking for some possible answers for why Beanie sort of
:freaked out yesterday. I have had her 6 months and she has
:always been pretty calm and prefers to stay in her enclosure.
:Yesterday, while I was on the computer she dive bombed 6 1/2
:feet to the bottom of the enclosure and starting digging at the
:door. I got her out and I have never seen her so energetic!
:After a little while she calmed, I put her back and a few hours
:later I heard her(on the 2nd floor) dive bomb again to the
:bottom. I rushed up there and opened the door and practically
:ran me over getting out of there. I took her in my bedroom and
:let her run around, forgetting about the full length mirror.
:She walked up to it and began rubbing her face into it. She
:also has developed a orange-yellow color to her legs. The only
:thing I could think of for her restlessness was the fact that
:it warmed up finally to around 60 degrees yesterday and the
:humidity was higher as well. Her appetite has decreased somewhat
:also.

:Does this sound like spring fever or should I have a vet check
:her. I am worried about her hurting her self it this continues.
:I am trying hard to understand what she is wanting but I do not
:have a clue????

:Thanks and sorry for the very long post.
