well i heard that when male iguanas go into breeding season, they tend to go a bit insane. but my female iguana actually acts the same way yours did like once a year. and she just calms down after a few weeks and sometimes months. and she does seem like she's digging for something and that's because female iguanas are capable of producing eggs even without conception. but obviously there's nothing in them. fortunately she's just starting to get her appetite back,..hopefully yours will too.
